Re: subs in the house

If you have a stereo system in your room, you could hook up your subs, but the amp I can't quite say. To do that you'd have to find a steady 12 volt supply. I guess you could start by breaking into your houses fuse box.

you can get a 12 volt supply for like 150 there usually used for charging rv battery's but you could hook one up in the house.

yes it can be done but requires a far bit of work and an inverter to conver 110 - 12v, what do u think all car audio shops use when they do their audio walls
i actually wanna grab the inverter from my work and use it in my room, would be sick to have some 12's mounted in my walls

Re: subs in the house

Or you can pick up a battery charger that you charge a car battery with. I used this to test my subs before I put them in my car since it was getting painted at the time.

Re: subs in the house

sweetness i was thinking that some subs behind the couch or under the seats ^_^ that'd be sweet! lol go to best buy and turn up some subs in a sealed box and they sound pretty sweet. Look at how much they charge for those high end surround sound home theater systems. If you could fabricate your own using car speakers i think it'd sound very nice ^_^ Only problem i can think of is that you'll need a good receiver with the right outputs. Wow i'm tired, time to sleep lol
