My first TT experience
First off I have a 94 SL that I used to have some respect for. So today at work this kid brings in his 92 Stealth TT, and since I plan to buy one come springtime I did the test drive for it
. OMG, HOLY SH*T, I need a change of underwear...these were my reactions when I hit the gas. Needless to say, I was amazed how ridiculously fast it was. Unfortunately, it made me not want to even drive my car anymore lol, the whole way home I was like "man this thing is slow", when just the day before I was thinking "i like this car". I wasn't sure if I would like it cuz I thought it would be just a little bit faster than my Formula 350 Firebird...but boy was I wrong!! So now it's in my veins that I NEED one...i'll definitely be buying one ASAP.He had a couple mods on it, I was hoping I could get a ballpark HP figure from someone. From what I could see he had a chrome Y-pipe, some kind of catback, a BOV...No timer or boost controller I don't think...but I don't know what those look like...there was a boost gauge on the steering wheel though so that might have been one of the two. Just thought i'd share for all you SL'ers

Re: My first TT experience
yeah I dont think i know anyone that owns one an doesnt love the machine..
people get the impression camaro's mustang's an vet's are fast they dont even compare - the model i lost a race to was the z06 vet i mean we were on the garden state parkway in new jersey here - i was goin about 170 an the dude dropped 6th an just pulled away from me - i was like man that car is fast - but if u race any other v8 u totally got the upper hand - in some cases you normally wouldnt beat em but its still possible if you know your car an can drive it right....my buddy has 72 mustang mach1 with a 351 clev. in it an some minor engine mods - i saw him pass me i slowed down to about 15 put it in first cut the wheel an railed on it spun it right around an i was on his ass in a matter of seconds i pulled up along side of him an chatted then he got on it an i just dropped it in second an blew his doors off like he was parked - he followed me to my house an said hey u didnt give me a right in that monster yet... They are amazing cars - if you get one - dont crash it or sell - I know i can never get rid of mine [smile]

yea, thats the bad thing about testing a TT when you own an N/A, you'll find out that if your a ""power enthusiast"" that you dont want your car anymore other then for its looks.
