1992 Buick Regal- No electrical!
Yesterday I went a few miles to the store and back. I went in and came back ten minutes later. When I turned the key it acted like everything was fine almost to the point in the key turn when the engine should turn over and start, but then it went dead. EVERYTHING went dead. I tried all positions of the key and nothing worked. The power door locks, everything. The battery was replaced two months ago when it died. There have been no other repairs recently (18 months ago the fuel pump went and was replaced). Thanks for your help.

You might want to check for loose battery cables, especially if you had your battery replace a couple of months earlier, because if the cables on the battery aren't securely tighten they can tend to loosen with time, and it could start up one minute and the next be dead. That might be the problem and it happens more than people think; i've had that same problem twice having a battery replace.
