Question power lock fuse

I have a 98 blazer and my power lock fuse has blown twice in the past week. anyone else have this problem. could it be something with my electrical system?

hi i would try a bigger amp fuse maybe that would work

I wouldn't just put a bigger fuse in it. Putting a larger fuse in it might stall the outcome of the problem but there has to be a reason it keeps blowing. Check for a bad wire or a short, you don't want to burn up your truck.

i had thought about putting a bigger fuse in but i don't want to fry it. anyone have any other advice

I've been having the same problem but mine keeps blowing all the time.I wonder could it possibly be the motor for it that it maybe going?

If you are going to post crap solutions, don't post at all.

Does it blow when you are not using the locks or only when you "hit" them to use them...this would help isolate the wires feeding the current FROM the switch...but before I would do that and I know this seems like alot of work, but remove all your door panels and disconnect each solinoid controling each lock...connect one solinoid and try the lock, connect the next one and try until the fuse blows..this will isolate the the bad one...sounds like a weekend project to me, good luck
