ID v.3 Evo + RX-8 tips :)
Alot of people have been asking about the best cars in version 3 and what's the fastest and how do you drive it etc... well, i can't tell you for sure which car is the fastest but i can try and help out a bit. I'd like to say in the long run it comes down to skill but in v. 3 that's just not the case. Say two people race 1 using a integra or somethin, and the other using an RX-8... if they are of equal skill, the rx-8 will completely overpower the integra. =(((
Well, i know a bit about the lancer evos ... here's the best advice i can give. Only look at the Evo III , IV, V ... personally i think the others are junk =( but to each their own. Evo III: Excellent top end, "ok" to poor handling. Basically you're gonna be hittin' some walls, but if you have the full tune, you can rely in your acceleration and top end to set you back on track. My team member Cpt M has a fully tuned Evo III and he can still beat me on Akagi uphill cuz his evo III has a better top end than my evo V. =( Evo IV: Excellent cornering and handling. It slides when it needs to, and can also grip like a true AWD car. However, its top speed isn't really too much to be proud of. It's excellent for courses like Irohazaka. It has moderate acceleration out of the corners, but you make up for it by entering and clearing them at higher speeds. Evo V: Pretty much, the evo III and IV got together and had passionate evo sex. It's a mixture between the III and IV, combining the best qualities of both. It has a good top speed after the full tune, takes corners like a champ, and accelerates out of the turns almost as fast as the evo III. Keep in mind while driving an evo, it's AWD so you're going to have the accelerator fully depressed throughout most of the turn. Brake late and just tap it, then turn in, and floor it. Depending on the turn you might have to downshift, however, in a Evo it's pretty rare... the only courses that require extensive down shifting are probably Irohazaka and a little bit of shomaru. Mazda RX-8 : This car is fast, there's no doubt about it. The one thing i don't like about the RX-8 is that when you really want to get fast with it, you're gonna be hitting the walls. However, you're not hitting them in a way that slows you down. Because of the stress resistance you can tap them to initiate a turn or hug the outside without losing much speed. The top end on that car is awesome and because it's a 6spd you can beat pretty much anybody off the start. Once you get ahead all ya gotta do is keep the lead and block (although i hate blocking, i will admit it's the most effective way to win, because eventually the other person will hit a wall trying to pass you, and you'll open up the gap) If you have any questions email me =P -Excel |

Re: ID v.3 Evo + RX-8 tips :)
what's your times? I believe the RX-8 is a really good car, but on some stages, you can feel it to under steer alot, especially on AKina. Over all, those are prolly the top 3 cars used in I.D.
