ecu tuning?

ive done some searches on ecu tuning for a 00 si but i havne't been able to find any real answers. i want to tune my ecu, get a chip, or a new ecu or whatever. i just have i/h/e on my civ. is there a certain chip i should look at or ecu i should get? im just a city/highway driver. what are some benefits and disadvantages oftuning my ecu? thanks. please dont hate me for asking this...

with I/H/E you'll lighten your wallet about 300 bucks
get come real mods before you bother.
ITR or CTR Cams and cam gears very mild good gains

and if you have your mind set on getting a chip, dont get a venom 400. biggest waste of money there is!

I'd say if you're mind is set on getting something, go with a Apexi VAFC. You'll see some gains but not much. And it's external so you can get rid of it, if you decide to step up on the performance parts and need better tuning.

good advice thanks alot. it probably is a waste of money at this point. i was just wondering if it would make some good gains but i guess not. thanks

ahh vafc the only thing WORSE then a chip on a stock car one of those lil ricy bling boxes.

getting rid of it hell dont get it you'll be better of. looking for gain now go with a cam
