Iac
I know so many tell me to change my IAC, but at 150+ a pop, I dunno. IF it works, fine. If not. GRUMBLE GRUMBLE. My villager dies as soon as started when cold on the first crank of the morning, every morning. It revs to 1200 and then drops to 500 for a second, then dies. When I refire, it runs to 1200 and stays there for a while till it warms up.It also idles kind of rough when warm, but nothing major. I pulled codes.. none found. New pump, tuneup, fuel filter. still does it. NO light NO codes, NO flashing burnt parts screaming,, CHANGE ME...

Re: Iac
There is no way around it. You can maybe try cleaning it with carb cleaner and hope it will give you few more months till you can get it replaced. I just bought one on Ebay. Search your local junk yards for a salvage one or on ebay for a used one of a parts vehicle.

Re: Iac
Try cleaning it once you remove it with carb cleaner and a tooth brush you might get a few more months out of it.

Re: Iac
junk yard is a great option. never needed to shop there for the villager, but for my s10 blazer it saved me major bucks. when i couldnt aford a new map and eac i found them on a s10 that only had body damage, and only cost me $5 apiece. i love shpping there. its almost as fun as a flea market. lol.
