tail light terminal

got a new cig lighter that has a light on it, the vague instructions said to hook up the wire for the light to the tail light terminal so it comes on when the lights are turned on, it has a U shaped end to it...

anyone know where the tail light terminal would be?

They probably mean tap it on to the park lamp fuse. You best bet is to tap it on to the wire behind the radio, cuz it is closest to the lighter. Take the radio out and in the harness in the back there will be 2 brown wires, one is a speaker wire the other will test 12 volts with the parklights on nothing when they are off (positive polarity) this is the wire you want. tap your cig lighter wire on to it and it should work with the parklights.
