locking gas cap for a 79 firebird trans am

anybody ou there that would know where i can find a locking gas cap for my bird, that came from the factory with a locking gas cap and open and closed with the trunk/door keys? i lost mine, *sigh*

please don't say ebay, cause ther is nothing there...

Well what about at the junk yard, www.car-parts.com just do a search for parts for your car and if they say your model call and ask if you can buy the locking gas cap if its equiped or what about one of those retro body parts, like year one. They probably make them.

haven't tried your link yet. Year one does not make them,and the dealers only sell them with a plastic top now, and just generic keys.I'm still debating how I lost mine, it either got pried off my tank, or I left it on top of my car, drove off and adios...(in that case silly me...)It bothers me to use a different key other than my trunk/door gm key to open the gas cap...

As to the junk yards, most junk yards just take those caps off when emptying out the gas tank...
