CB Antenna Mount

Hey all, I'd appreciate some help if ya can. I'm putting a CB in, but I need to know a good spot to put the antenna. There are a variety of mounts available, but I'm not sure where or which one to use. Anyone had any luck with this?

Don't have experience with a CB in my current vehicle, but I put my magnetic XM antenna on the back of the vehicle in the center above the rear stop lamp.
I just ran the wiring along the top of the plastic pieces in the vehicle & pushed it in back of the pieces to hide them & it works fine.

My wiring though may be smaller guage than what your running, but I still ran mine through the back liftgate & I have had no problems with it getting sliced up.

Of course I did put a bunch of black electrical tape around the part of the wire that would be getting the pinch from the liftgate...no problems.

Magnetic mounts have always been good for me in the past with other vehicles with CB's. Hope this helps.
