Cruel cut for Welsh rugby fan
Monday, February 7, 2005 Posted: 9:36 PM EST (0236 GMT) LONDON, England (Reuters) -- A Welsh rugby fan cut off his own testicles to celebrate Wales beating England at rugby, the Daily Mirror reported on Tuesday. Geoff Huish, 26, was so convinced England would win Saturday's match he told fellow drinkers at a social club, "If Wales win I'll cut my balls off," the paper said. Friends at the club in Caerphilly, south Wales, thought he was joking. But after the game Huish went home, severed his testicles with a knife, and walked 200 metres back to the bar with the testicles to show the shocked drinkers what he had done. Huish was taken to hospital where he remained in a seriously ill condition, the paper said. Police told the paper he had a history of mental problems. Wales's 11-9 victory over England at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff was their first home win in 12 years.

I don't understand people like that. That is the area of my body that I'd be least likely to mutilate ever.
A friend of mine works at a local hospital and he told me about this one guy who came in. Apparently he was on PCP or something and took a pencil and pushed it thru his...ummm yeah. So when the guy snapped out of his trip, he was mad that they couldn't do anything for him other than cut it off. I think this world needs to stop worrying about pointless crap and start realizing that mental disorders are big things that need to be addressed. But even at my lowest point mentally I would have drove my car off a bridge before I cut any part of my body off.
