Jiotto Caspita

This is Fujimi's 1/24 Jiotto Caspita, built box stock. Quite a basic kit, only difficult part was masking the windows to paint the roof and window surrounds - the glass and roof are moulded in one piece. I bought this kit at a show about 2 years ago because I thought it was unusual - well, I'd not seen one before. Searched the web for info when I built it but couldn't find much so I just painted it how I liked....

Wow, nice!
Very cool, clean build also.

I have never heard of car either, but I like it maybe I can get hold of it too, although the masking part sounds difficult...

Yay!!!! Another subaru...powered sports car. Did you wire the engine? What color did you paint the wheels? Nice clean work my frend. Keep up the nice work.

Re: Jiotto Caspita

Thanks for all the comments. It's good to see another one completed, I've been to many shows and only ever seen one other.

Engine isn't properly wired, but I did add a couple of random wires because there's loads of space around it.
Can't remember exactly what I used, but all spray painting is done using real car paints, mostly from Halfords. Most detail painting is done using Humbrol enamels.

Yes, that is my MG. She's a 1973 B GT finished in Harvest Gold, requiring a little TLC when time and finances allow. Don't want to get too far off-topic now, but maybe I will put up some pics on another forum.

Re: Jiotto Caspita

Look very good. I think some panel line would bring life to this model !

There are masks on the decal sheet. You need to copy to them to something sticky. No real masks.
