GTP doors anyone?

Well I had another race yesterday in the VR4. Firstly, I wasn't going to kick it down at all because of the driveshaft being screwed, but my girlfriend had just broken up with me and I was in a very bad mood, so when this Grand Prix started screwing with me, I decided to go. He kept tailing me, so I accelerated in 5th up to about 85 or 90mph, and he was right on my tail. Finally, I pulled in the right lane, waited for him to give it, and then I dropped into 3rd and floored it. I noticed right off that I wasn't losing this guy, and when I went into 4th, he was probably 4 or 5 cars back. All in all, we went to about 130, and he had stayed there pretty good, I was surprised (although my car is working like crap anyway). He pulled up beside me when he was existing, and I saw the GTP badge on the door, explaining why it was quick. It was a 97-01 model. They have some decent grunt for a family car. So that's my story.

Cliff notes:
I beat a GTP
I'm single

aww dont worry, theirs pleanty of fish in the sea. Those GTPS are quick man, so many people underestimate them. Low 15 seconds stock and a pulley can put them in the high 13's.

Now that you no longer have a girlfriend you can use the money that you save to fix the VR4

are you serious? one pulley takes 1.2 seconds off of your time
you got some proof to back that up, or is that just what you heard?

not calling you a liar, its just sorta hard to beleive

Youngvr4..I believe it just because a $200 pulley will take an 03/04 cobra from mid 12s to mid/high 11s.

Re: GTP doors anyone?

It's pretty much like putting a manual boost controller on a turbo car and raising the boost.
