Pipe Cleaner

This is definitely a very dumb question for you all. But, I really have no idea where to get it.

Where do you get your pipe cleaner to clean your airbrush. I have been looking around at hardware store, hobby store and places like walmart. I still couldnt find the little tiny pipe cleaner that is small enough to be able to fit into my airbrush.

What I am using now is those things that "looks" like pipe cleaner but with cotton attached to the soft wire (donno what it calls) for craft use. I dont like it becuz the cotton always come out and left some in my airbrush.

I know places like MicroMark have those cleaning set that comes with different size of pipe cleaner, but all I need is just the little tiny size one.

TIA.

Re: Pipe Cleaner

Maybe try a Tobacconist, seeing as a pipe cleaner is designed for cleaning Pipes you smoke.

Re: Pipe Cleaner

I forget the brand I bought, but I got it in a regular drug store ('chemist' to you ferr'ners). It's in a yellow package, I'll check the name when I get home from work. They do work very well.

Use Dill's brand, yellow package with red panels and white lettering.
I got some off brand once with coarse bristles along with the soft ones, not the best choice, but better than nothing.
Save-On drug stores is where I find them, but it's getting harder with all evils of smoking... - Mark

Re: Pipe Cleaner

I found mine at a craft store. They're usually called something else, depending on what design is on them. I have pretty pink and orange ones with stripes on them, until I run them through the airbrush tubes that is.
