Radiator Support

how much would an average shop charge to replace my core support?

i'm gonna order the core support online so i'll only be paying for the labor.

It Depends On The Damage On The Car. Your Fenders Come Off Easy With A 10 Socket. 3 Or Four On Top 2 By The Door, And I Think One More Screw In The Front On The Bottom.is Your Car Crashed Or Are You Doing A Conversion?

The best way is to just go out and start taking it off. If one section doesn't wanna come off that means there's a screw or bolt in that area, so search for it and remove it.

A shop would probably charge $3-500 to do it.

Do you have access to a welder and a drill? Ah, nevermind. You can't even get your fenders off, so I'm not gonna suggest you do this by yourself....

No U Dont. If You Open The Door And Look From The Front You Will See A Screw A The Top Of The Fender And One At The Bottom. These Screws Are Hidden When You Close The Door.

Well, I know on my 92 there are 3 side bolts near the door, not 2. The 2 you see when you open the door, and then a 3rd lower side bolt hidden by the side skirt. If this is also the case on your 96, you have to remove the skirt to get to this 3rd bolt. The other bolts are all easy to get at. Under the hood are easy, the one connecting the bumper to the fender is easy...it's all easy...you may just have to remove the skirt to get the the 3rd side bolt (the lowest one). As I said, not sure about 96+ civic, but on my 92 you have to remove the skirt to get the the 3rd side one...the other 2 side ones you can accress buy opening the door.
