What type of cleaner did he use? If it was the type that you put in the gas tank he could have used to much, since your car only holds about 8 gallons.I was trying to be smart one day and put a bottle of carb cleaner in my truck before I left the house and drive about 5 miles to a gas station to fill up.The truck started smoking and missing and I had to be towed to the gas station the last 1/2 mile or so.
Didb't know what to do since the truck was running perfectly when I started it .Ended up filling the tank and after a few minutes of cranking the truck it started, ran rough for a couple minutes (while the fuel lines cleared) then ran perfect again.
