Ok heres the deal. The car was idleing way too slow, so I changed out the Idle Air Control Valve( IACV), the cars idle seems to be ok, But now the car, when I step on the gas, hesitates to get going, and vibrates when tranny gets going through the gears. Are these problems related, would really appreciate some info on things to look at while im trying to fix theses issues. The car is 1996 Thunderbird LX... please help

My suggestion ( depends on your odometer reading) in order of importance:
1) clogged injector 2) clogged fuel filter Cure might be a can of seafoam in the tank (easier method); new filter or fuel rail inductive cleaning of injectors. This answer is based upon recent experience I had, but by no means is the sure fire answer, but it sure sounds like an injector to me. John R |

Re: slow idle/ hesitant acceleration
Have you checked your mafs? This might cause the problem you described.
