I'd say NO.'cause yours is a 2002 if I'm correct, therefore to new.
The Ta of member 76ta of course has it's value, because ther are only a few around and it is a classic. In the very long run yours might gain or hold some value...

I have a feeling that they will bring back the Firebird like they did with the Thunderbird and they will probably slaughter its design just like they did with the Thunderbird. They'll get that Asstek engineer on it or something...

Yep, unfortunately I have to agree with you.
Just look at what they did with the GTO, just slapped a different nameplate on there and called it a GTO...
I hope GM goes back to the roots of the Firebird and Trans AM's, so they can compete against those Mustangs again. And those rear hatches did not help the Birds either from 82 - and up..
Know a lot of customers that did not wanted to open those large glass areas, ...
