Question Clear Hoods. (Painting them)Help

I have a Calsonic R32 gtr by Tamiya, It brings the hood already off the body, but it comes clear, I wish to know how or what do I do to paint it the color of the car .

It's your choice, they molded quite a few kits that way to showcase their underhood detail.
If you wish to paint it, what I do is paint the underside of the hood the same color as the kit is molded in, or if you are using primer, the same color primer as the final prime coat.
I also spray a thin coat of primer on the top too when using primer before painting.
Then paint the underside like any other kit... - Mark

Thanks Alot, This was the only choice I had but wanted to check if it would damage the clear part.

Thanks
