1994 Transfer Case Shift Sequence

I have an old (226000+ miles) Cherokee that I want to tow with an RV. What is the shift sequence to put the transfer case in "N"

I can shift my T-Case into N when it is parked flat with the key turned, the Automatic in N and with the engine off. If that does not work which is very very very rare, then I start it and cycle from R to D to move the parts in the box so they shift.
