Found a nice Single Exhaust!

Okay-okay... I know you guys don't like it, so there is no need to express your detest for it. But let's say I buy this one... will I have any problems? 4.5" Muffler and 3.5" piping. Pros and cons once again! BTW it's for a Coupe... how easily can an Exhaust shop convert some piping to make it fit my Z?

I'm not sure where they add the lenght to the pipes, but if it's before the last flange your in business without any mods, if not easy mod. to make them fit.

Friggin' Ricer!!!

but seriously, i dont like it. dont get it...atleast get a dual tip one or something. maybe you should look into customizing a 350Z nismo type exhaust. where it comes single pipe into a huge muffler sitting horizontal and then dual tips. that might looks sweet tucked up uner the ass of a Z32...

EDIT: nevermind, the gas tank will get in the way. i dotn really mind single tip idea but i dont like that huge coffee can sticking out the end.

Re: Found a nice Single Exhaust!

Yeah... it is huge! But other than not digging it... do you think I would lose power?

I'm telling myself... 3.5" tube... 4.5" tip... better flow? More Power?

i think the power will be equal...so get whatever you like the best. if your worried about restrictions, just get a dual 3" exhaust. that would have to be the best flowing exhaust for the Z32 i have ever seen...

Re: Found a nice Single Exhaust!

like i said before, even if you get dual 2" exhaust, that is still 4" all together, bigger than single. and almost all aftermarket exhaust is 2.5"-3". the only point i see in getting single is to be different.

Re: Found a nice Single Exhaust!

You lose power when you split flow, when it joins, it may optimize over all flow.

I think it would look BADASS... Unique if not.

Do it Whore-Hey!

Nope. You can't just add them, you have to work out the crosssectional area of the 2" and you'll see that the 4" flows so much more than 2x2". As I said in the previous thread, as long as the exhaust is at least 3.5" diameter, it will flow better than 2x2.5".
