Radio Compatability

I found an AM/FM/CD/CASS radio that has come from a 2005 Caravan. I have a 99 JGCL. The style looks the same but I have heard that the wiring harnesses are different starting in 2002.

Is this radio compatible?
How do I remove the old radio? What's the best place to go for instructions?

I believe that you are right about them changing the connectors in 2002.Do you have the part number off of the caravan radio?I could tell you what years it fits.its on a sticker on the radio

The connectors are different. I got such a good deal on eBay that I went ahead and bought a radio (I had a AM/FM/CASS -> AM/FM/CD/CASS). It came out of a 2005 Caravan. I was told that as long as it did not say INFINITY on the radio it would be compatible. I had to buy 1 harness for the radio, another one for that adapter to wire into a harness that would plug into the factory harness. I also had to buy an antenna adapter. around 30 bucks so not too bad....IT ALL WORKS!!

Thanks for responding...

I bought it at a local audio specialty store. You know the kind that specializes in the "serious" sound car audio systems. Kinda like the guys you see on West Coast Customs. It was a great deal. I bought the radio for 122.50 on eBay. ($600 from a dealer) I even think that you can buy them on eBay. I bought it locally so I know it would work...
