at the shop that i work my 2 people i work with make fun of me and my crx.my boss drive a turbo maita, nothing on that thing is stock. it rules but any ways and this other guy i work with has a eclipse with an intake msd and a shor shifter.they all say my car sucks it is to slow but i am going to race the eclipse guy down my super curvy road. i will tell you if i win or not. it should be later this week or next week. people need to show more love for hatches,crxs,civics,and integras

Kind of like the guy I saw driving one of those newer style vw beetles last week, with an IH8HONDA license plate. I don't understand why so many haters drive girly cars... oh, well actually maybe I do.

Why take the chance of wrecking your Rex - or killing yourself (or someone else)? You're not going to change their minds. People hate Hondas for any number of reasons:

1) they don't know anything about imports & are just trying to fit in with whatever vehicle they can get

2) they're mad that there's 10x as many parts available for Honda's (that are MUCH less expensive) & not nearly as much available for whatever they're driving

3) they know someone who doesn't like Honda's & wants to fit in

4) they hate the fact that ANY Honda (new or old) will run circles around their vehicle when it comes to reliability & resale value

The list goes on & on. My point is, who gives a damn what they think!?! Eclipse's are heavy & slow, and the only COOL thing about Miata's is that they're RWD...

if u race, good luck but be careful like CZ-R said and don't ruin your rex just to disprove a couple of idiots at your work.

after i sold my celica which i had put quite a bit of money into and got my civic i thought i'd shoot myself if one more person said, "oh too bad u had to sell your celica! it was so nice!" (ok i'll admit that my civic had a rough first 2 weeks: blown radiator, 2 flat tires, and someone smacked into the hood, dented it, and then ran). and everyone at work calls me "white rice" because the car and me are white (soooo funny...) anyway, the point is, when i see better cars than mine they make me want to work that much harder to get my car where i want it to be and worse cars remind me where i started and how far i've come.

wherever your car may be, it seems like you're pretty proud of it and who cares what some guy with an eclipse or miata think.

don't hurt u or your rex!

Exactly Ice_x. I couldn't have said it better. All my friends are getting these really fast or girly cars, like one of my friends just got a 2003 celica GT with no extra's and because it's a celica, that makes my car crap. Well considering my car is 15 year's old, I still get the oem MPG ratings, my paint job is in really good condition and it run's great, I really wonder if it's crap. You be the judge! I think you'll agree that nothing comes close to being a Honda and nothing will.
