After looking at the pics of the Lucerne on TCC, I can see a resemblance
to the 2001/03 Aurora. Both cars are FWD. But the Aurora had a DOHC V-8, as opposed to the pushrod V-8 in the Lucerne. ___________________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

engine
In my looking around, I remember seeing two stories......One said it would have pushrod motor....the other said 4.6 northstar
From CheersandGears: Lucerne is the first Buick sedan in a decade to offer V-8 power. Rated at an estimated 275 horsepower (205 kW), this all-aluminum, 4.6L 32-valve dual overhead cam engine is optional on Lucerne CXL and standard on CXS models |
