Unhappy Hot Air

i just got in a car accident a few months ago with my 99 sl2 and lately i notice da inside gets really hot after a while. its almost as if da heater was on but it was off and a stronger current of hot air. i notice this happens when i take da car at speeds of 50+

Re: Hot Air

even with the fan off, do you notice the same when the temp control is set to the far left (cold/blue area)?

Re: Hot Air

then its normal, even with the fan off, the outside vent is open, so then at speed, some air flows thru the cowl.

Re: Hot Air

it bugs me too sometimes, i really wish the HVAC had a extra low fan seting. if it gets to hot, just keep the temp set to low, or the middle.

I'm not sure i'm helping any here, but in case anyone is as dumb as me...

It took two years of driving my sl2 around to realize, even though there is a button for internal/external air flow, it only actually switches back and forth if you are running the fan. When i switched it to internal, then turned the fan on briefly, it got rid of the flow from outside and left me in peace.

Is it like that on all saturns, of was mine just cooky?
