Hey guys, I just bought my 03 Spec V with the 6 speed in December and I haven't really raced it enough to really get it down. I'm used to a little 1.6lr Geo Storm(lol, I know) which I had the gears down perfect on, but this is a lot more hp and a new experiance. I don't just want to drive the shit out of it all the time until I get the hang of it because I really love this car and I don't want to tear it up. Can you give me some advice? I would like to know how high to rev my engine on the line? drop the clutch or not? What rpms to shift at? Also, what are some quick and easy mods I can do to my car, cosmetic or performance. I painted the break kalipers red and that looks pretty sharp, I think. I'm not wanting to spend a fortune, but I just want to get my car into the high 14's. I've heard from several sources that with a good driver, the Spec V can get as low at a 15.1 on the quarter mile, but it usually runs about a 15.6 statistically.
P.S.: Don't pick on my comment about my little 92 Geo Storm . I loved her even though it had the HP of grandmas 1970's blender.<3<3
