My late night high speed race........

So I'm heading home at about 1 to take a shower and head over to my girls house right. I was waiting at a stop light waiting to turn left, and when the light turned I stabbed the throttle and cut the wheel and then went into counter-steer; side-ways all the way through the turn. I guess a dude in a 'teg saw me and started to follow me onto the highway. I was steady crusing @ 75-80 and the 'teg pulls up to my right and started plain with me, it was a really nice 'teg too, black with some type of rims, lowered, nice n-1 out the rear, one of the nicer ones i have seen. So he kept speeding up and slowing down at the door so i'm like fuck it; i downshift from 5th to 3rd and take off, and I hear him do the same. redline 3rd up into 4th and his nose is just in front of my door. I look over, he hasnt lifted, so i'm not going to either, redline 4th (never done that before, just hit 110, never did that before either) he is still at my door but very slowly pullin up (damn Vtec). I look over and he hasnt lifted, I look ahead and shit is flyin by fast as hell, i look down and i am 6000 rpm 'n 5th (redline is 7200) and look at the speedo and i'm doing 131 and then I see him lift so i lift too, he dropped way back, guess he felt a bit salty. Anyway i took an exit and saw him stay on the hwy, sucks cuz i wanted to give him the 'ole thumbs up or something, but I guess I already crushed his ego enough.
Well yea, thats my saturday night..... not bad I guess, i dont drag much but this made me feel proud of my little N/A miata, AT HOME ON THE TOUGE AND THE ZERO-YON

WELCOME TO AF!!!:coolguy:

You are from UK , right? Damn , TVRs are a rare sight outside the uk... What you're driving? Judging by the nick a pulsar... You have a pulsar that is capable of 140? (I guess it's mph... )... When i have been to UK i have seen many unbelivable vehicles , i wish it could be like that here... especially in London....There wasn't an hour without seeing a ferrari , rolls , bentley , lotus , aston etc. Jaguars are really common , like one every 10 minutes or so... I have also spotted some TVRs and Morgans ... There were also some really nice GTRs (skylines) , my mates that were there with me wasn;t very knowledgable about cars so they didn't know why i was following every skyline with my head , and didn't do that with jaguars or porches ... Now they know , if you get along with me you'll know about the cars , at least a little bit , whether you like it or not...:finger:
