J30 Lsd....
Hey guys. Quick question. Which years is it that the J30 LSD will bolt up to my S14? I am almost positive that it is 94 and 95 without the axles. And the 93's will fit, but I will need the axles. So I found a 94 J30 LSD
(Whole differential assembly) for $250 shipped and I just want to make sure that before I order it, it will bolt right up. Please let me know if I am wrong somewhere or let me know if you know where I can get one cheaper. Thanks a lot guys. Most of you know your shit.

Re: J30 Lsd....
Why is it "wack"? What's wrong with it?

Re: J30 Lsd....
I would suggest the R200V 300ZedX's Non-Turbo rear end, which is geared to 4.083. A common swap to do in the Zed32 world is to swap the Non-Turbo's rear end into a Twin Turbo Zed. This makes the over all response AMAZING. The Twin Turbo's rear end is R230V which is 3.692... So you can easily see the difference.
Great for quarter mile, road coursing, drifting even. Only problem is, the R200V will be expecting 222bhp accomidation to those gears, so if you cant supply that horse power, your probably looking at a slower car over all. But if you have an SR or RB swap, it would run like a champ. Just my thoughts on the subject... -Wes

Quote:
Its wack on the basis that the PS13 is geared to 170ish stock @ a 4.08 gear... throwing in the 3.9 from the J30 would make for taller gears and crappier acceleration. an NA-Zs 4.08 is an Exact match and I belive the RPS13 has a 4.3 gear which would be better unless your doing top speed runs... basically what Zedex said... but re-worded by a retard. |

Re: J30 Lsd....
To answer your question 95-96 fit. Heres a website on it.
www.ka24development.com Larger numerical gear ratio=quicker acceleration but less top speed Smaller numerical gear ratio=slower acceleration with more top speed. Ways to overcome smaller gears include: More engine power Lighter car Different transmission gears.
