ABS Problem?

Hey there, alrighty on my 97 Grand Am SE my abs light won't go off. anyone have in suggestions on what it is and what I need to replace. Is it some kind of sensor. Let me know.

There are several items it could be. Most likely you have a wheel sensor going bad or it has already done so. Check the wiring to each wheel to make sure one has not been disconnected. Otherwise you will need to take it to a shop so that they can scan the ABS computer and they should be able to fix it for you. If the ABS computer is bad it will be expensive to replace although you may be able to get a used one from a wrecking yard. Wheel sensors can also be expensive depending on the model of sensors installed on your car. Don't know if this will help you decide what to do or not but I hope it helps.
