Re: Fix a flat and ground effects

As far as the fix-a-flat, just take it to a tire place and they can pull it apart it, clean out the fix-a-flat, and fix any leaks for probably 15 to 20 bucks at most.

As far as the ground effects, if you keep bottoming out, you might be able to use inserts or something to raise your spring height. Not sure. run a search on www.grandamgt.com and you might find something.

Yeah, ridenour's right on the fixing a flat price. I'm gonna say this though, you probably bought z rated tires for a reason: to drive fast once in a while. As far as I'm concerned for your safety and the safety of others on the road, that tire is done for. If the the tire was just being to putt around on at normal speeds then sure have it patched, but if your going to speed in it, in my opinion I wouldn't suggest fixing it. Again this is just my opinion.

Re: Fix a flat and ground effects

I kinda follow fork's thinking, fix-a-flat is really for slow leakers and low speed running. It is NOT a permanent repair. And, as you say Z-rated, chances are ya want to scoot at times. I wouldn't do that on a tire with fix-a-flat.
