1997 Saturn SW1 Keyless Entry Programming?

Looking for programming instructions for my 1997 Saturn SW1...
GM 16207901-5 model AB01502T - 4 button style (lock/unlock/trunk/alarm).

Also, do I have to use the exact same style as a replacement (can 3 button same model # be used? can a different model # be used?). I read somewhere that other GM keyless fobs can be substituted... true? false?

Any info would be much appreciated!

look at the diagnositic connectior under the dash, jumper pins 4 and 8 together, then press any button on the remote. all remotes must be programed together, remove the jumper wire(paperclip, hehe) to exit proramming mode. i don't know about mixing fobs.
