exhaust upgrade

hey guys well i have a 98 4 door Ls blazer and i wanted to upgrade my exhaust to get more power. I heard ebay has some pretty cheap exhaust but my question is how do i know which one to get is there any requirements like size or anything.

1)is the installment pretty easy(bolt on) or should i take it to a muffler shop?

2)what kind of exhaust systems do you guys have?

Also, Where could i find a cat for my blaze because the one i currently have sucks it is making rattling noises every once in a while and i need to change it is it more expensive?

thanks

Re: exhaust upgrade

Go to your local Midas and buy a Ravin Z55 muffler and have them install it.

You will have to install a small piece of pipe seeing the Ravin is much smaller than the stock muffler.

I have also installed a Magnaflow Carsound High Flow cat and it is awesome. Just get the universal 2.25" model and have the muffler shop install it as well as the muffler.

That is up to you to find out.

Prices vary from place to place.

Flowmaster are garbage and restrict exhaust flow more than the stock muffler.

And they sound raspy as hell.
