leaking oil

i posted a while back about my truck leaking oil..well i had it looked at today by and mechanic and it seams my front seal is bad and my valve seal gasket is leaking..anyone know round about what this will cost me or not?

front main seal will cost a bit, but the valve cover gasket you can do yourself cheap.

Valve cover gasket is around 10 bucks. dont know what eng size you have but 2.2 is very easy i do know that. took me around an hour. when mine was bad it leaked a little bit of oil and my gasmileage was bad. other than that. i dont know if it would do any engine damage.
