wondering....

i am looking into buying a 91-95 mr2 as my 2nd car.. i am 17 and right now i own a 93 3000gt.. i want the mr2 as my racer... just my little manny fun car and i was wondering where i can find a jspec turbo mr2 engine?? i won't buy the mr2 unless i can find it to drop in if you know of where to get one pleez tell me thanx

Why do you feel it nessisarry to find the J-spec motor? They made turbocharged MR2's right here in america..

i know that but i didn't know if the jspec was a better engine but i would probly get just the reg turbo and just upgrade the turbo.. thanx..

The JSPEC was more or less the same as the USDM until after '94 IIRC.

If you are in the U.S., it is not worth getting the "jspec" IMO. Plenty of power can be had from the USDM 3SGTE.

Exactly. It comes with a few more base ponies that can be gained through modification anyway.
