cold air intake for 93 daytona es

I have a 93 daytona es. It has the 3.0 ltr. V6 engine. From what my friend tells me this is the Mitsubishi engine. Does that mean I could get a cold air intake that fits the 3.0 ltr. V6 mitsubishi engine and put it in my daytona???? Thanks, Nick

the 3.0L engine found in the 90-93 daytona is the same engine made by mitsubishi... engine code is 6G72... it also has the same block and lower end as the dohc version, but has sohc heads and the drivetrain is on the opposite side... if the engine compartment permits, yes... it will work
