85 gle sedan?

well i have found a gle for $500 (cnd) around $800 us, it has been rebuilt and has a new motor (i thing rebuild) i am wondering about finding parts for these in bc canada, and some preformance parts for these. are they reliable? are they good in snow?

Yes they are reliable if you can do the work. But they are rear wheel drive and are terrible in snow/ice conditions.

I disagree totally, I live in Calgary and have two 700 series Volvos and a 200 series, I can out accelerate most FWD on our slippery roads. Get good snow tires, I actually prefer studded, and place a little weight in the back and you will be amazed at the traction

I consider a good winter car one that just standard snow tires will work. Yes weight in the trunk is good, the sedans are very light ended.
