I didnt find much info with a search, so I figured I would ask the pro's.
while driving (clear sky, sunny, warm), I notice that when I brake at a light or gas to go that the low trac light pops on every now and then. no spinning of the tires, or wet blacktop, the light just goes on, then off. Could this be a sighn of some sort of slippage, or just an electrical problem? Or did I really see papa smurf sitting on my toilet this morning reading my latest playboy issue? any input appreciated thanks JP |

Re: Question on low trac light...
Sounds like a faulty sensor. The sensor may just be popping in / out from the force of acceleration and braking, and since it doesn't recieve a signal it disables trac control. Or it could be mis-calibrated and think that you're hitting something rough (like deep slush) or something and be disabling it. Either way, it sounds like you may end up needing a new hub sensor - or just try cleaning all of them.
