ecu

i want to put the D16Z6 - SOHC 1.6L VTEC in my 91 rex si . what ecu do i need some one said somthing about a p28 or somthing is that right?

well if it were me, i would want to run the ecu that was made for that engine, which for the z6 is the p28 ecu. so if it were me id swap to obd1 so i could run the p28 ecu.

if you run a obd0 ecu, the ecu isnt made for the z6 so you wont be making optimum power and then you will also need to find a way to activate vtec, lots of people use the msd rpm activated switch

im at washington and my 4 door just has ls with skunk 2 cams and cold air intake and exaust thas all lol but ill smash on ur car!

go obd1 - p28, holla if you need help converting its really simple.

and how do you have skunk 2 cams in your ls? the dont make them for the ls.

Try Ebay and just search honda ECU and it will bring up all kinds of stuff, chips you can buy and already modifyied ecu's, it'ss list some stock ones too so read carefully to get what you want
