Go Karts...

Sorry, this wasn't exactly a car comparison.

And you don't really sit low in all Fiat's, in fact im struggling to think of many recent models where you do... the only current production Fiat where you sit low to the ground is the Barchetta, which is on its last legs.... the Coupe is the other recent sporty car Fiat have sold and you didn't sit especially low to the ground in that one.

May i suggest the Lotus Elise, Lotus 340R, Vauxhall VX220, Morgan Aero 8, Ariel Atom, Caterham 7, BMW Z3M, TVR's...

Thanks Crayzayjay! i don't figure i can afford most of those, but i'm going to research them anyway, and who knows, maybe i'll find one someday. thanks, and i mean it!

to answer Moppie's question, i'm trying to find a low, small car. i have looked all over for a car that has the build i want, and they are damned difficult to find in the U.S. these days.

i realize that it is possibly a safety issue, but i am sad to see all cars getting higher, heavier, and thus less fun : (

Low is cool until you hit something. And watch $500 worth of plastic or in my case fiberglass bounce down the road at 70mph.

Re: the lowest to the ground wins!

yeah...

i am trying to find that perfect balance of safety and fun.

it's not easy.

nor affordable.

i think the best i'll be able to do is buy a very old Mini.

About the car in the picture, I think its ether a late 80's/ early 90's Nissan Navara 2X4 or a contemporary Toyota Hilux 2X4.
