Sudden Cracked Dashboard

I have a 94 4runner and the other day I got in and noticed that my dashboard was cracked. It's about a 5 inch long crack too. It's not too noticable now but I know it'll probably get worse in the future as the dash expands with the heat. I usually keep my dash conditioned with armor-all so I'm kinda puzzled why it all the sudden did that. Does anyone know where i can get a new one for future reference? Also how much would that certain part cost?

You might consider just filling in the crack with some sort of plastic putty of a similar color.

I had an 85 Cutlass with a vinyl top, I washed and AA'd it weekly. When the top fell apart, I was told it was the AA. Something about it shines by drawing the oils out of the vinyl...

Armor All is a petroleum product and CAN cause cracking - it dries out the vinyl/plastic...Armor All sucks!!

what would you use then to keep your dash conditioned and looking good if you can't use armor all?
