My girlfriend owns a 1991 T-Bird 2 door coupe, she has a problem with the sway bars too. It was caused by leaking power steering fluid and the P/S/F literally DESTROYED the sway bar bushings on the drivers side, she has 2 kids and I was wondering what harm can be done to the car and if there is any potential damger in her driving the car like this. I mean there is NO bushing left there, in other words, metal to metal. every time she hits a bump u can hear it clunking. Please let me know about ANY potential harm or danger. Any tips/advice would be appreciated.

Re: sway bar question
Other than stress causing the mount to break and reduced responsiveness in the steering in the case of an emergency manuever, can't think of anything.
