Intake Vent
What do u guys think ofbuilding a cold airbox around my pod filter and sealing it with the bonnet then feeding air into the box through a bonnet vent just above the airbox?? good idea or ugly idea or wot?

Do a bit of research on bonnet scoops. IIRC, the first inch above the bonnet is kinda static or low pressure or something. I've thought about this also. Thing is, if you vent louvers face forward they may pull rain in and if they face back they may try to suck air out.
My choice would be a feed from the cowl area (higher pressure) but you'd need either a rearward facing scoop or else have to cut into the firewall upper surface. If you are ok with cutting your bonnet then I think a feed from the cowl (where the wipers come out would yeild better results.
