front license plate covers?

I purchased my 2000 TA without the common firebird front license plate cover and was wondering where and if I can get one. My car is silver. If anyone knows the answers please reply. Thank you!!!

when i got my 98 firebird it didn't have the license plate cover, i checked on eaby and they didnt have any so i just went to my local chevy dealer and they ordered it, they come a dull black color so you will need to get it painted, i think it cost me about 50 bucks to get it painted

Check your state's laws. I took the whole mounting bracket off of the front of mine and after having it like that for 2 years I gut pulled over a week ago for not having it, yet they said nothing about the tint that is 50 shades past legal....wtf

I know here in California you'll get pulled over quickly for not having a front plate (because the red-light cameras need it to catch people) but not all states require them. I agree with brass_monkey93 check ebay and if there's nothing there try a dealer.

michigan is badass for that reason.. no front plate.. to red light cameras.. and no emissions testing.. hell yeah

Thanks guys for the info.! I will check on ebay and then a dealer. I play professional baseball in the st louis cardinals organization so I am very rarely in my state of residence which is CT. Hopefully there won't be any trouble from the po po! Thanks again- mike wodnicki

yeah, having no emissions is probably the best thing ever.. i cut my cat off when i put on the exhaust.. my car actually sounds kindof good for a v6.. but will never sound like an 8.. ever..

Silver is mad cool and I too have been harrassed but also have some friends who are cops. Unfortantly we can't all be well rounded perfect individuals like myself but I give something for the rest of humanity to live up to.

I live in michigan so i can basically do whatever i want with my car....but once a cop walked past my car when i had my t-tops off and he looked in it and he thought that the "bump" on my passenger side floorboard was faulty and was about to give me a fix it ticket...that cop always gave guys with sweet cars trouble anyway because he was a pedal bike cop

I have gotten pulled over so much that I am surprised when a cop drives past without whiping a shitty and pulling me over... and when it does happen I my stomach no longer falls to my ankles... I bet my insurance company loves me
