Hi,

the top line of the widening along the middle of the door and the fenders isnīt straight, you added is too much miliput.

Everything should look acurate before you airbrush.

I agree with racer917.

Did you airbrush it or just regular brush?
The paint job doesnt seem smooth though.

Re: out door pics of beetle

Hey Cj_Baller13.

Well, your car is creative. But has a lot to improve.
Try to sand a bit more the wide body ou created.
The paint could improve too, but the sanding part would already give you a better result.

Ok!? Hope you finish this model.
keep us update ok?!

Bye
Magliano

Re: out door pics of beetle

Too much putty work. That area between the front and rear fenders could've been done with sheet plastic so that it would look flat, then fix the problem areas with putty. All you used is Milliput?

Sheet styrene is not very expensive, and you can even use "For Sale" signs. Styrene is also MUCH easier to work with than putty, believe it or not. Cut to shape with scissors and needle files, and test fit until you get the pieces to match up. When you've got one side done the way you want it, you can easily copy the styrene sheet for the other side. Use super glue (CA glue) with an accelerator. If you can't find accelerator use baking soda sprinkled on the glue joint. Liquid glue makes a mess and won't dry strong enough for this type of work.

Good idea on the styling, just keep practicing on your fabrication.

Re: out door pics of beetle

yep, some more sanding will bring justice to the idea you have in your head of this beetle. Color is nice.
