Question bonding metal to plastic

I looked through the FAQ's and all I could find about bonding metal to plastic is sk8er6811's suggestion of a baby powder/crazy glue mix. Has anyone else tried this? I thought about super glue, but the door is a little thin where I am attaching the hinge and I dont want to warp it or melt it as some of you have said it will do. This is my first opening door project and I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Re: bonding metal to plastic

Super glue will do the trick, however if you want a really strong bond consider securing the part with metal pins.

Two part 5 minute epoxy will work well too.
