looking for answers
ok so i was reading and i seen a guy say to turn the car in the on position for 10 min and that i may need to do that a few times. im gonna try that in the am.

Sorry, but I don't think anybody has any clue what the hell you're talking about.
You really need to elaborate more when writing a question. Are you asking about how to reset your oil light or something? If so, then yeah, you're right. You need to put your key in the on position, leave it sit for 10 minutes, and then push and hold the gas all the way for 3 times. I hope that's what your asking about. |

In another thread he mentioned replacing his steering column because of an attempted theft, and now the anti theft light is comming on and not allowing the car to run.
Back to the question. I've done this for my 96 cause I was having probs with the theft system. Never replaced the lock or keys, but when I had the No start prob. I'd just do as you described... and it'd start. I have no idea if that will work since you have replacement keys.... I've heard that a remote starting system bypasses the theft system, maybe have a shop install one of those to get by if you don't have any luck. Wouldn't hurt to call one and ask them. Good Luck. |
