Question obd1-2conv auto?

if you convert your 98 autolude to obd1 will you lose the triptonic shift?

by convertin to OBDI, your car will respond to mods better, you won't throw CEL's left and right like you might wiht OBDII, thus avoiding running in limp mode. you'll fail smog (at least here in cali) but you can easily switch back to OBDII.

oh, and the conversion shouldn't affect the tiptronic function. if it does you've crossed the wrong wires somewhere

well i guess so, just dont get caught. tampering with your emission devices is a violation of states and federal law, big fine and i think they can impound your ride. also, troubleshooting engine problem on obd2 cars is much easier.

yeah man, i agree with you 110 percent. me here gonna join the police as soon as i finish school. get all these people who do mods on their cars.
