Need some information
Hi can any shed some light on this problem. I replacing a ECM, Serial number 1227747 that came from a Asrto van 4.3 liter to a Chevy 5.7 liter P/U 350 I also change the chips will this work or do I have to have the same chip that came with ECM. Are these ECM interchangable.

I would imagine they are not interchangable, but it depends on what they control and what the inputs are. If it's MFI, then obviously it would not work. TBI, it may work. They would have to have identical electrical parts, if the pickup is even one sensor short, it will never run right.
