Lift question

I have a 99 silverado 2 wd. In the spring i think I am going to lift my truck enough so i can fit 32 or 33's under it. I was looking at some 3 inch lift spindles for the front and blocks for the rear, Then throwing a locker in the rear, I need this truck to haul my dirtbike around so I need a bit of extra ground clearance. I was wondering if anyone out there had used the lift spindles before and if there were any problems that they had. Price is a factor somewhat so I am not able to afford a complete suspension lift with new A-arms and everything else. I was also looking at a ratcheting locker from detroit

I did a Fabtech 7 inch kit and I could only fit Pro-Comp X-Terrain 305-70-16. Which measured 31.8 on Mickey Thompson 16x8 Classic II's. Had to trim the lower valance because of a little tire rub.

Re: Lift question

That's weird. I have a friend with just a 3 inch body kit and a 2 inch leveling kit. He has 315/75-16's on his truck which measure out close to 34.5 inches and he's no wheres close to rubbing. How is it that you have 7 inches of lift and you have to trim? p.s. i have no lift and have 255/85/-16s which measure out to around 33.5 and all i had to do for clearance was crank the torsion bars 4 rounds.
