i have a 90 laser turbo fwd, on my way home from work last week the alternator quit working, and it died obviously. there is a wire that comes straight from the center of the alternator; it is hanging next to the oil filter. it has a plastic connector on it, i looked under the car for like 10 minutes and i cant find a place that it can possibly connect to. im sick of shit like this happening to this car, it seems like every week something else happens that seems minor, but yet it inhibits the car from running. do any of you know where i have to plug it into? i took a picture of it on my cell phone so if anyone can help me, i can send you a text message with the pic.

i cant put the pic on my computer, i can only send it in a text message. its not a big wire, i think its a 16 gauge, its the same size as a radio wire. it has a black plastic connector on the end, with a small metal thing sticking out. im stumped as to where it goes, its hanging right next to the oil filter and its tied down with a plastic tie, so the hanging wire is only about 6 inches. the only thing that the wire can reach, as far as i know, is the radiator and oil filter.
